The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club by Billy Dec to open in Printers Alley

An award-winning Chicago nightclub is opening in Printers Alley this spring.

Emmy Award winner and Chicago restaurateur turned Nashville local Billy Dec is opening The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club in 5,460 feet of space in One Nashville Place.

“Our hope is to be a new home and heartbeat for creatives and locals — somewhere to go that is in the middle of the action but tucked away from the heavy tourism spots; where you can create, play, meet like-minded friends and collaborators, ‘be yourself, become yourself,’” Dec said in a release.

Named after The Blueprint Supply Co., which once stood where the club is opening, The Blueprint is meant to be an upscale cocktail lounge, nightclub and live music venue all in one.

It will host events from fashion shows to DJ’s to singer-songwriters to chef’s.

Big Plan Holdings made a passive investment into the concept.
